STARFIST Kingdom's Swords

The Starfist series is military science fiction aimed at the young adult audience. The central characters are Marines gathered in a space-borne fighting unit called a FIST who travel from world to world doing what Marines do. In this volume, John Bedford Lloyd provides the narration as the Marines are sent to quell a peasant rebellion but instead are greeted with a much more difficult battle involving an alien race they call the Skinks.
