Jeff Woodman's talent shines in this madcap school-based adventure. Miss Switch, the witch, pays another visit to Pepperdine Elementary School, this time when Rupert is in sixth grade. As the kindly witch transforms into a substitute teacher and back to herself, Rupert is the only one who knows everyone's identity until he lets a friend in on the secret. Woodman credibly passes himself off as an 11-year-old, complete with the intermittently squeaky voice of a near adolescent. A happy ending concludes this funny and enjoyable tale. A.G.H.
