THE KABULIWALLAH AND OTHER STORIES

This collection of stories is told in the lively tradition of an oral storyteller by narrator Sagar Arya. He tells these tales of love and separation with humor and gravitas, evoking a range of emotions for which the author's writing is well known. Postmen, shopkeepers, fathers, and young children are a few of the many characters that people these narratives. Arya captures the musical rhythms of South Asian-accented English throughout the dialogue.
