THE QUIGLEYS

Mum, Dad, Will, and Lucy are the Quigleys, a typical family with very tolerant parents. When Lucy decides she wants to dress up as a bee for the wedding she's in, she eventually prevails. Particularly charming is a scene in which Dad lets Mum down for her birthday, and the kids mix all of the drinks from the liquor cabinet for a special cocktail to cheer her up! Sophie Thompson has every voice down pat and adds her own brand of distinction, giving each child a special appeal by adding tiny quirks and youthful emotions to her characterizations. S.G.B.
