TO BE WHERE YOU ARE Mitford Years, Book 12

Narrator John McDonough brings Father Tim Kavanagh to life, along with the other folksy characters of Jan Karon's beloved Mitford series. McDonough's pacing brings a level of depth and appreciation to Karon's writing that allows the listener to savor the story. Father Tim is given a full-time job after struggling over how to find his self-worth in retirement. J.C. Hogan's marital woes are still at issue, one well-known character will die, and the mayor of Mitford still keeps running term after term. Returning to Mitford as a listener continues to feel like visiting family and old friends. The continuity of McDonough as narrator ensures that listeners will enjoy visiting again.
