From a writing standpoint, this thriller has it all--murder, rape, revenge, and a courtroom battle--all part of a plot that twists and turns regularly. When a legal counsel--and longtime friend--to a politician is accused of murder, a dark secret they share threatens to ruin them both. Hill's narration is so solid that one listens obsessively.
