From his first words to his last, Euan Morton's narration is quintessentially Dickensian. This novel gives Morton the opportunity to voice all the personalities of the original CHRISTMAS CAROL--from revelers to Scrooge, ghosts, and Tiny Tim--and all are satisfying portrayals. Author Samantha Silva's story is a fictional account of how Dickens came to write his Christmas classic. Silva gives Dickens an inconsistent moral character (aspects of which may be historically accurate). Since Dickens plays the Scrooge in Silva's story, listeners must wait until the end for his redemption.
