MONEY FOR NOTHING

A financial windfall is a happy event--usually. For Josh Redmont, the one-thousand-dollar check he received each month for years from the faceless "United States Agent" in Washington, D.C., was welcome manna from heaven--tax-free manna. But he learns he should have looked the gift horse in the mouth, when the "something for nothing" maxim kicks in, leading the buttoned-down ad exec and father frantically looking for a way out. Of what? An imposed role as a "sleeper agent" for the very organization that mails the checks. Embroiled in a rapidly evolving spy scheme--replete with heavy accents, a femme fatale, and many weapons--Josh and the cast, portrayed marvelously by Michael Kramer, do cloak-and-dagger proud. D.J.B.
