Martha Chainey, former show girl turned investigator, is hired to solve these Las Vegas crimes. Patricia R. Floyd does an admirable job in this slick whodunit. Her voice patterns of male and female characters are equally authoritative. Whether portraying a Hispanic boxer, a Japanese casino owner, a white petty thief, or a streetwise black reporter, Floyd is on top of her game. P.R.
