Narrator Foreman does a commendable job enhancing a predictable story. Sydney Bristow poses as a Los Angeles college student when, in reality, she's a budding CIA agent. Her first real assignment takes her to Paris to infiltrate money laundering in the high-fashion industry. Her partner for the job is gorgeous Noah, who helps calm her fears as they encounter Russian thugs. Foreman cleverly handles the text with diverse accents and a range of emotional highs and lows appropriate to the fast-paced story.
