THINGS YOU SHOULDN'T SAY PAST MIDNIGHT

by | Read by a Full Cast

Poetry & Drama • 1 hr. • Audio Program • © 2002

Peter Ackerman's bedroom farce is a well-recorded over-the-top observation on modern sexuality. The cast of characters includes three sets of lovers--gay, straight, and other, who sort through their hang-ups and turn-ons in a sassy, sexy free-for-all. The acting ranges from vanilla to tutti-frutti, but all concerned, including the audience, seem to have agreed to simply enjoy the ride. At times gratuitously shocking, THINGS . . . is like an audio Scorpion Bowl with straws for six. Don’t know what a Scorpion Bowl is? It's the exotic tropical drink with the strong warning at your local Chinese restaurant: "May make you forget what you've said or done."
