Dunne effectively conveys the fear Meg experiences when she sees a light in a church crypt and finds a murdered man there and five cremation niches broken open. Soon the listener catches the contagious enthusiasm of Meg's father as he investigates a thirty-year-old robbery/homicide case that is connected to all the broken units. Dunne uses believable voices that convey the nature of the quirky characters Andrews has created--for example, Meg's micromanaging mother and the efficient but gruff police chief.
