Sandra Burr depicts Southwest tour guide Rainy Gordon in girlish tones in this romantic mystery. Fleeing a tainted past, Rainy confronts doubt and despair when she's suspected of thievery once again despite her claims of innocence. This time valuable Indian artifacts are missing. Duncan Hartford, her tour driver in training, who is characterized with a charming Scottish brogue, is compelling and delightful, although his budding romance with Rainy is founded on deceit.
