WHEN ELEPHANTS FLY

Narrator Caitlin Davies gives a mature, realistic voice to T. Lily Decker, a high school senior who is working as an intern for the local newspaper. Lily balances emotion and objectivity when a mother elephant's rejection of her baby brings Lily's own past with her mentally ill mother to the surface.
