SARAH'S SLEEPOVER

This story about a blind girl's sleepover weekend invites listeners to consider how all people are uniquely able, despite their physical limitations. Kate Forbes's matter-of-fact tone and even pacing serve the story well, and she effectively dramatizes the verbal exchanges among the girls at the party. Sarah comes across as likable and brave, especially when she takes charge as the lights go out. ("I know my way around in the dark.")
