MISFITS Royal Academy Rebels

Narrator Kristin Condon delivers this story with all the regal pomp and circumstance it requires. Princess Devinaria wants to become an animal caretaker, but at Enchantasia's Royal Academy fairy godmother Olivina has other plans for her. No more gallivanting around woods and animals--Devin must learn to act like a proper princess and leave danger to the princes. Magic abounds, as do giggling and haughty royals young and old. Condon creates a likable young Devin with a strong and determined voice that differs from the voices of her two roommates, one saccharine and one husky. The princesses face trials and perils, and although Condon infuses the characters with an appropriate measure of fear when needed, her cackling witch and fearsome dragon refrain from sounding too fearsome.
