Ida purloins a carriage to find her missing sister, not realizing that it is occupied by a sleeping Bennett, Lord Carson, an overworked aristocrat who yearns for a quiet, biddable wife and a tranquil life. A madcap adventure filled with humor, love, and Ida's traveling tips ensues, much to the listener's delight. Bond gives the perfect accent and tone to each character--a nasal, whiny voice to Bennett's father, a deeper, more manly pitch to Bennett, and a snappy, lighter intonation to Ida.
