A standout is Jim Shaffer’s “All That The Case Is,” in which narrator Peter Berkrot brings to life a small town of characters—male, female, old, and teenage. Laird Long’s “Fairy Dusted” demonstrates how audio can effectively dramatize a story. Narrators Renee Chamblis and Julie McKay present a story of alternating text messages, with each narrator’s voice perfectly projecting her character.
