DEAD MAN'S ISLAND

Dead Man's Island introduces Henrietta O'Dwyer Collins, a sixtyish former journalist and sleuth. Henrie O. is invited with others to a remote island by media magnate Chase Prescott, and a weekend of murder ensues. Kate Reading presents a cohesive narration. Her sometimes matter-of-fact voice blends the characters and scenes with proficiency. She exudes the charisma and wisdom of our heroine, apportioning appropriate vocal embellishment to individuals as necessary.
