Narrator Chloe Cannon captures the defiant spirits of Revna and Linné, two young women who join the first corps of female aviators as they defend their homeland through the use of forbidden magic. The strength of Cannon's performance is in her steady narration, which reflects the story's pace as the conflict escalates while simultaneously bringing to life each character's unique voice.
