When a college professor's son is accused of a brutal crime, the father realizes that only he can stop the boy from becoming a statistic--another black youth gone bad. Peter Jay Fernandez gives a bravura performance of a colorful array of characters. His skills as a narrator shine through the realistic dialogue and authentically capture voices of both genders. Most male narrators can credibly vocalize a collection of male voices, but few can produce female voices as well as Fernandez does here. This is a moving and engaging performance that showcases the delivery of the narrator and the power of the writer. P.R.
