WISCONSIN VAMP Monsters in the Midwest, Book 1

Narrator Ray Lesniewski skillfully presents modest, low-key Herb Knudson, a truck stop cook who accidentally turns into a vampire after a mosquito bites him while he is living it up in New Orleans. From Trappersville, Wisconsin, Knudson is a polite, nerdy guy who leads an uneventful life consisting of bowling, karaoke, and several oddball friends. In addition to portraying a convincing Knudson, Lesniewski conveys his buddies and ordinary townsfolk, along with colorful descriptions of cheese curds, a bake sale, muscle trucks, and Knudson's ancient Ford Pinto. Hilarious off-key Packers team songs morph into Knudson's graphic vampire activities. Listeners will enjoy experiencing Knudson slowly turning into a hunk, an outstanding bowler, and a ladies' man.
