DO GOLDFISH PLAY THE VIOLIN?

by | Read by Andy Crane

Children • 2 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1985

Narrator Andy Crane is quite young, and it's to his advantage as he delivers this story filled with a large number of young characters. The main character, Jeremy James, fears getting his hair cut by a bald man--a perfectly logical fear for a child. Crane portrays the fears of the little boy splendidly. Jeremy James's tiny, playpen-bound siblings are quite realistically "quoted." His mother, scattered father and battle-ax theater director are also humorously handled by Crane, who portrays them from a child's perspective. This series is geared for young readers. Parents will also get a few laughs as they join in family story hour. S.G.B. ©AudioFile, Portland, Maine [Published: JAN 96]
