I AM C-3PO The Inside Story

This memoir is written and narrated by Anthony Daniels, who has portrayed C-3PO in the Star Wars movies since 1977. Daniels was an unknown stage actor when he met with a young filmmaker named George Lucas. Though not a science fiction fan, he accepted the role because of C-3PO's inner humanity and relationship with his companion, R2-D2. It was a modest start to a remarkable story. Aside from the occasional iconic line in his C-3PO voice, Daniels narrates in a relaxed, conversational manner. With great affection and enthusiasm, he presents four decades of Star Wars lore from his unique point of view.
