THE WRECK

Listeners who like mysteries tinged with adventure and colorful characters are in for a treat. Scott Brick's performance is everything you'd expect from a narrator at the top of his game. He captures the drama and foreboding of an audiobook centered on the discovery of a gold coin by a teacher who is spending the summer at his family's Lake Michigan home. The teacher and a crusty former Coast Guard captain lead the search for a lost treasure--but they aren't alone in their quest. Complications include the strained relationship between the teacher and his wife, rich neighbors with designs on his home and his wife, and a possible fortune. All make for an engaging listen.
