A serial killer known as the "Carriage Killer" murders four random victims on the local rail network before moving to another town. DCI Whitney Walker has figured out his kill pattern, yet even with the police on alert, the murders continue. With forensic psychologist Dr. Georgina Cavendish to assist, Walker bridles when her boss adds police detectives from another precinct. Corbett creates Georgina's posh and Whitney's working-class accents, making each woman immediately identifiable. She adds believably gruff, gravelly voices for cops and conductors.
