DUBLINERS PART I

It was a wise choice to cast Jim Norton as the performer of this collection of James Joyce's short stories. A native Dubliner himself, Norton provides a masterful palette of characterizations for each of the 10 pieces, fleshing out the realities of their oftentimes stark and difficult lives with technique that no one but a true local could bring. Irish music is interspersed throughout the production, lending an even more authentic feel without ever becoming overbearing.
