Seraphine Valentine narrates a charming romance that takes place on the set of a TV rom-com. Jasmine Lin and Ashton Suárez have joined the cast of "Carmen in Charge" for different reasons: Jasmine because it has the potential to make her career and Ashton because he sees it as a stepping-stone out of telenovelas and into Hollywood. When off-set drama threatens to overshadow the show, Jasmine and Ashton must decide what is more important--their careers or their hearts. Valentine's portrayal of Jasmine creates a character who is focused on her career but also emotionally vulnerable. In short, she is utterly relatable.
