TREASURE Hush Collection #2

Adepero Oduye narrates this short story about class divides in Nigeria and the perils of social media. Treasure is an aspiring Instagram influencer with a carefully crafted glamorous image she shares with her nearly 5,000 followers. An unnamed poor mechanic steals a smartphone and logs onto Instagram as @Sho4Sure. After a brief flirtation in Treasure's direct messages, @Sho4Sure wants more. When Treasure accidentally posts a photo that gives away her location, @Sho4Sure decides it's time for them to meet in person. With excellent pacing and the use of local dialects, Oduye brings the city of Lagos and these characters into sharp focus despite the limited run time of this audiobook.
