A PATCHWORK OF CLUES

At the beginning of this audiobook, Portia Paltrow aims to take her morning run, only to discover the body of local college professor Owen Hill in the doorway of the town's fabric shop. It soon becomes apparent that Owen must have been killed intentionally. The ladies of the weekly quilting bee in Crestwood, Kansas, decide to solve the case by sorting through the clues piece by piece--just as they would squares of a quilt. In performing the audiobook narration, Stephanie Dillard does a solid job of introducing this new series.
