Heath Miller smoothly narrates this young adult fantasy. In a clear, distinct voice he portrays two very different children who must navigate mythical creatures and other dangerous encounters as they seek the portal that will bring them home. Miller's delivery of a variety of voices differentiates the characters and brings them to life. He particularly emphasizes the juxtaposition between the two protagonists.
