But after being accepted at an elite creative writing program in Long Beach--which gives her a new school, new friends, and a new neighborhood--her magic writing well dries up. Cobb's performance is dazzling as she smoothly slips between characters. She expertly portrays each unique personality--the self-doubt of Tessa, the awkward earnestness of boy-next-door Sam, and the persuasive charms of handsome Nico.
