DUTY & DESTINY The Life and Faith of Winston Churchill

Richard Turner does a splendid narration of this well-written and meticulously researched biography of Winston Churchill. In this relatively short work the author looks at the man through the lens of his religious beliefs and their impact on his life. Churchill's religious views changed over his lifetime and were sometimes a bit inconsistent, as well as contradictory and even paradoxical. Turner's narration is a great match of voice and text--his British accent has a winsome resonance and stentorian quality that give the whole production an authoritative tone.
