SAMMY'S HILL

Listeners should don their laughing hats as they hear one of fiction's zaniest characters stumble her way through life on Capitol Hill. Narrator Kathe Mazur gives an appropriately neurotic tone to hypochondriac healthcare policy advisor Sammy Joyce. Between Sammy's goofy fears, Mazur works in emotional readings of her man troubles. She primarily reserves vocal characterizations to a pair of snooty women who throw Sammy into severe paranoia. Gore’s light-hearted work is peppered with political opinion and salted with insights on DC's inner workings.
