Australian narrator Sophie Loughran brings listeners the story of two women who are connected by a series of letters that are carried by strangers to their destinations. Hannah has left her children behind after a massive bout of postnatal depression. India is determined to fix those around her but is definitely running from something. Hannah's friendship with India creates a story full of love and magic. Loughran's thoughtful narration balances the emotions of a mother who sees herself as a failure and a woman who tries to keep all of her secrets from others so she doesn't have to face them herself.
