DRAMA LUAU Nicky & Noah, Book 4

Narrator Griswold Addams sounds sublime in this cozy mystery set at a Maui resort. Listeners observe newlyweds Nicky Abbondanza and Noah Oliver, honeymooning theater professors, as they direct luau shows to offset their vacation expenses--until murder strikes down several of the dishy male dancers. Addams excels with various Hawaiian accents, particularly those of nasty Lani, head housekeeper and reluctant grandmother of adorable 7-year-old Taavi, and inquisitive Abbondanza, who morphs into a detective after the murders occur. Prime suspects are the Kopenas, conservative, homophobic hotel owners; a slimy preacher; and rich church donor Rich Greenbacks--all masterfully portrayed.
