Rachel Held Evans died in 2019, leaving behind a host of fans who valued her deconstruction of the conservative evangelicalism in which she was raised. A prolific writer, she was working on a book tentatively titled WHOLEHEARTED FAITH when she died. Her husband asked author and friend Jeff Chu to knit together her unfinished words, completing the book. Essentially a collection of moving essays, the audiobook is narrated with tender care by a band of Evans's close women friends, along with her sister, her husband, and Chu. Many of them have experience preaching, and some have narrated their own audiobooks. The result is a heartwarming listening experience that combines the beauty and wisdom of Evans's writing with the voices of those who knew and loved her.
