Reid expresses Jamie's desire for a new start--and for her devastatingly handsome partner, Alexius. Reid makes the interplanetary romance work, her voice becoming more husky as Jamie and Alex deepen their physical relationship. Thom is a convincing alien with a deep, full-bodied voice and slightly formal diction that suits his otherworld persona. Their alternating narration suits this sexy sci-fi romp.
