Archaeologist Dr. Hank Murphy discovers an artifact that takes him to a war-torn corner of the galaxy. The artifact leaves him physically enhanced and capable of surviving the conflict as an "Orphan." Daniels is a perfect match for Murphy. His gruff and slightly cheeky presentation makes the hero more relatable and sets the tone for the story, which includes tough characters, tough situations, but also a good bit of lighthearted fun. Between the exciting story and Daniels's adept variation of voices for all the characters, this audiobook succeeds in providing a good time for listeners.
