Narrator Zara Hampton-Brown does an exemplary job with the British and American women in this audiobook. Lia, a Brit, works in New York, where she runs a bookstore with her best friend, Rosie. As Lia makes plans to return to England for her brother's wedding, her family presses her to bring her girlfriend. But there's a problem--Lia doesn't really have one. Luckily, her friend Grace, an American, is living in England, and she agrees to act the part. Will love follow? Hampton-Brown's portrayal of Lia is spot-on, infusing her with calm seriousness. Rosie is exactly right--loving, lighthearted, and sweet. Grace is portrayed as being full of anxiety over her past. Together, the three women make for an entertaining and well-done listen.
