FEMMES AND FATALITIES

Nine stories by women mystery writers, including Joan Hess, Barbara Paul and Charlotte MacLeod, are read by Ann Wilcox, Nelson Runger and Bill Fantini. The stories are interesting; the leading villains are women. The readings are good, and the audio production values excellent. Labeling could be improved, and more information on the package would be useful. The selections are an excellent introduction to popular writers, especially for listeners with a short commute.
