BENEATH DARK WATER

Reeling from what appears to be a terrorist attack that killed her daughter, Sherry moves in a near daze until a young girl temporarily adopts her. When the girl disappears, Sherry has a mission--first to find the girl and then to save her. In uncovering the mystery of who the girl is and where she came from, Sherry unravels a host of unknowns lurking beneath her daughter’s death. The main character’s anxiety and strength underlie Staci Snell’s narration. This complex story also contains a diverse collection of characters.
