VAMPIRE WEEKEND

Narrator Emily Woo Zeller takes us to the Bay Area, where Louise Chao deals with the struggles of any modern woman: family estrangement, supplying herself with food, and finding fulfillment through her musical passions. Oh--and she's a vampire. Life certainly changes when long-lost relatives contact her and a blood shortage at the hospital forces her to mingle with the vampire community. Zeller does a good job with pacing as she voices various characters and delivers musical terms. The only notable hiccup is the cartoonish voice she provides for Louise's ex-best friend, Marshall.
