Barrie Kreinik performs an enchanting story that injects hope, love, and possibility into a science-fiction thriller. As a disease called The Grey afflicts the population, an engineer named Lily discovers a potential means to slow the spread. Kreinik's precise narration imbues the story with a steady sense of narrative drive and intrigue. Lily is portrayed with hopefulness and youth, which capture her character wonderfully. The plot races towards its climax with Kreinik keeping a steady hand. As this wonderful story spans time and space, Kreinik illuminates Lily's determination to return humanity to brighter days.
