Delightful and lighthearted, Rosanna Pilcher's voice is ideal for this collection of short cozy mysteries. Her soft, musical delivery brings the food truck characters to life as they investigate a series of murders within a food truck park in Birch Tree, Maine. The stories are written by four authors; each story stands alone and has a Christian influence, mentioning prayer, salvation, and church. There are some hesitations between words at times, but they don't disrupt the flow of Pilcher's narration. She alters her voice to fit various characters, allowing for age, gender, ethnicity, and other characteristics. This is a solid entry in the cozy genre of mysteries.
