THE DARK THAT DOESN'T SLEEP

Questions abound for psychiatrist and FBI consultant Jack Miller in this engaging audiobook, which benefits from an excellent performance by Golden Voice narrator Johnny Heller. Miller has been assigned to help Connor Murphy break through his amnesia and determine how he survived an arctic storm in Greenland--and how the two other men trapped with him died under the ice. Miller must also identify which of the three soldiers was spying for the Soviets. Heller's dynamic performance is an ideal complement to this character study. While Heller provides each character with a unique identity, he uses a distinct cadence and inflection to transform Murphy into a memorable and sympathetic character.
