TRACE EVIDENCE

Evelyn James is a forensic scientist who is called to work on the case of a young woman discovered drowned with chains on her torso and her feet in cement. As Bernadette Dunne becomes Evelyn in our minds, she tells of yet other murders with a similar modus operandi. Dunne reads the story in a tempo that draws us into the crime and takes our minds off our driving. Beware of that. She draws a line of difference between each character to portray personal temperament and, in so doing, offers us the luxury of listening to an expansive detective story.
