This engaging audiobook features powerful, proficient women who are facing off in the world of espionage. Who better to bring them to life than Suzanne Freeman, whose performance is filled with self-assurance? This is especially true in the way she voices Adrienne Astra, a former college heptathlete who grows into a confident elite assassin. Adrienne accomplishes this feat in part due to the two strong women who train her in the spy agency that recruited her. Freeman uses her vocal skills adroitly to differentiate among these similar characters. She even makes the male characters intriguing despite their being less than alpha in this production.
