Listeners will find this frolic enjoyable due to the skillful narration of Billie Fulford-Brown. Emma Oxley and Nellie Yarrow are lifelong friends and con artists who only go after deserving men. Here they find themselves in the middle of a heist of a wildly valuable bracelet and the kidnapping of a girl. Fulford-Brown creates two distinct voices for the protagonists, as well as a variety of others for the secondary characters. Even though this audiobook has many characters and a complex plot with lots of twists, listeners will be able to follow the mystery, thanks to Fulford-Brown's vocal range.
