LOST TREASURES The Hunt for Hidden Fortunes

This collection of Old-Time Radio shows features stories of hidden treasures, most real, some illusory or even metaphorical. The stories range from the gritty noir of "Inner Sanctum" to the pious sentimentality of "Family Theatre" and the juvenile appeal of "The Lone Ranger." The only problem with this program is its breadth--it's hard to imagine even a fan of OTR being pleased by all these shows. But the wide range makes it likely that the listener will find something to like, and there are strong selections, including a fine "Treasure of the Sierra Madre," starring Humphrey Bogart.
